Observations from multiple commercial sites indicate that Tropical Blue is entering harvest significantly ahead of standard early-season varieties, with growers reporting one of the earliest fruiting windows recorded to date for Mediterranean environments.

This accelerated ripening provides clear strategic benefits within early-market supply programmes. Early-season availability is particularly valuable given the limited global supply during the Northern Hemisphere winter, enabling producers to access favourable pricing while providing retailers with consistent volumes of high-grade fruit during a critical supply gap.

In addition to its phenological advantage, Tropical Blue continues to deliver the fruit-quality attributes documented in earlier trials. Berries demonstrate high uniformity, large average fruit size, elevated firmness, and stable flavour characteristics, supported by strong postharvest performance.
