“I look at about 75 different varieties at the research farm each year and Eclipse stands out. Tip quality, especially in the second half of the season when the weather warms up, is outstanding. Spear size is a little larger than Millennium with some jumbos the first couple of harvests. Total yield appears to be similar to Millennium but pack-outs are high due to its uniformity and tip quality.”
